Desert View Hospital provides 24-hour emergency care for the residents and tourists of Nye County. Our services range from life-saving and life-support measures to diagnosing and treating minor illnesses, injuries and medical conditions.

Patients requiring a higher level of care will be stabilized and transferred via ambulance or helicopter to a facility that can provide advanced, specialized services as needed.

The Emergency Department is staffed by a physician, registered nurses and certified nursing assistants who work as a team to provide high quality compassionate care. Nurses are trained in advanced cardiac life support (ACLS), pediatric advanced life support (PALS), pre-hospital trauma life support (PHTLS) and neonatal resuscitation programs.

Radiology and laboratory services are available around the clock to help physicians diagnose and treat patients with a wide range of medical conditions.

Emergency patients are seen according to the severity of their injuries or illnesses; this is not a guarantee you will be seen precisely at your requested time.
